Meet Our Team
Hi, I’m Summer, and I’m the heart (and camera) behind Empowering Studios. My passion? Capturing women in their raw, powerful, imperfectly-perfect beauty. I know what it feels like to wrestle with self-love, to struggle with body image, and to wonder if you’ll ever feel “enough.” That’s why every session with me is more than just photos—it’s an experience rooted in empowerment, compassion, and maybe a little bit of awkward laughter (because let’s be real, I’m a little weird and I own it).
I want you to walk away from your session seeing yourself the way the people who love you see you: radiant, worthy, and completely unforgettable.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me curled up with my cats (don’t worry—they won’t be at your session!), blasting music while I edit, or binge-watching crime shows with my husband. I’m also fueled by coffee, chaotic energy, and way too many snacks.

Meet Summer
Meet Timothy – The Brains, The Muscle, and the Comic Relief
Timothy is the behind-the-scenes brain and muscle of Empowering Studios. While I’m pouring my heart into the art, he’s making sure the numbers add up, the emails don’t get lost, and the heavy equipment actually makes it from the car to the studio. He’s our in-house bookkeeper, problem solver, and set-builder extraordinaire—aka the guy who keeps the chaos in check.
But he’s not just “all business.” Timothy is creative as hell, goofy when the vibe needs it, and constantly bringing fresh ideas to the table. He’s also a huge animal lover, which means if there’s a stray, a foster, or a new pet to care for, he’s probably already halfway to adopting it.
When he’s not helping me run this dream, you’ll catch him gaming, working his full-time job, or trying (unsuccessfully) to domesticate one animal or another. Honestly, Empowering Studios wouldn’t be what it is today without his love, logic, and steady support.
I found the cutest local shop full of tea, amish foods, vintage goodies, and lots of other fun stuff!

I play with all sorts of styles of make up so you may see me with bright colors, dark shades, or no make up at all!
I love my furry babies and all the adventures they bring!
