Hey, I'm Summer. I run Empowering Studios, a boudoir studio out here in Sonoma County. This one's different though, not a private session, but the same spirit: showing up as you are and letting that be enough.

If you're a mom, you already know what's coming. Back to school lists. New shoes. Figuring out carpool again. Somewhere in the next few weeks you're going to spend an entire evening standing in a Target aisle deciding between the folder with dinosaurs or the one with rainbows, and you're going to do it stressed.

If you're not a mama, this is still for you. Maybe summer's been a blur of work and errands and you haven't actually gotten in the water once. Maybe you just want a reason to put on the swimsuit that's been sitting in your drawer since May, the one you bought feeling confident and haven't worn since. You don't need a kid or a crisis to deserve an evening like this. You just need to show up.

Before the season slips away, I want one evening that's just for you.

No responsibilities to manage, no one needing anything from you. Just you, a colorful swimsuit, some other women who get it, and the ocean. That's it. That's the whole plan.

I made this because summer is my favorite season and I refuse to let it slip by unnoticed while everyone's brain shifts into fall mode in July. Popsicles. Salt water. The kind of laughing that happens when a group of women stop performing for each other and just exist. I wanted one more excuse to be in it before it's gone.

You'll get all the group shots from the day, plus 2 individual images of just you, because you deserve a picture where you're not cut off mid-frame holding someone's floatie.

Come as you are. Wear the loudest suit you own. Let's soak up the last of this season together before it's gone.
